Who is L'Officiel Roma?
L'Officiel Roma is an Italian fashion accessories brand founded in Naples in 1969 and now based in Rome, at Via della Giustiniana 624. It makes high-end costume jewellery, pure silk scarves, leather bags and silk home textiles. The company is L'Officiel 95 S.r.l. (VAT IT04797131002), a registered Italian artisan enterprise (Albo delle Imprese Artigiane).
Is L'Officiel Roma related to L'Officiel fashion magazine?
No. L'Officiel Roma is an Italian maker of Made in Italy accessories and has no connection with the international magazine «L'Officiel». They are two separate, independent entities.
Are the products really Made in Italy?
Yes. The silk scarves are produced in Como, Italy's silk district; the jewellery is made in Italy using artisan techniques such as plating, hand-knotting, filigree and pavé; the bags are genuine Italian leather.
Why are prices lower than those of the big fashion houses?
L'Officiel Roma does not spend on large advertising campaigns, celebrity endorsements or flagship stores: what is not spent on the brand goes into product quality or a lower price. Our motto: «You pay for the object, not the advertising». More: Our philosophy.
Who designs the collections?
The silk collections and exclusive prints are designed by Laura Fabbri, the brand's in-house designer.
Orders and payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, UnionPay), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Satispay, Bancontact, MobilePay, Klarna and instalments with Scalapay. The full price, including shipping, is always shown before you confirm the order.
Do items come gift-wrapped?
Yes, every L'Officiel Roma item arrives in a gift box.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Orders cannot be changed, but they can be cancelled free of charge while the shipment is still being prepared. Email INFO@OFFICIEL.IT straight away with your order number.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on orders over €75; below that it costs €4.90. The exact cost for your destination is always shown in the order summary before payment.
How long does delivery take?
In Italy, orders usually arrive within 2-3 working days: we prepare the order within 1 working day and DHL delivers it in 1-2 days. L'Officiel Home products (silk pillowcases, sleep masks and bedding sets) are made to order and take 26 days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship throughout Italy, including the islands, and worldwide with DHL. Delivery times depend on the destination country.
Returns, refunds and warranty
Can I return a product?
Yes, you have 30 days from delivery to request a return, with no reason needed. The item must be unused and in its original condition, with tags and original packaging. To start a return, email INFO@OFFICIEL.IT with your order number.
Are returns free?
Yes for Italy and the European Union: we send you a prepaid shipping label. For non-EU countries (for example the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates) return shipping is paid by the customer.
When will I get my refund?
Once we have received and checked the return, the refund is issued within 10 working days to the original payment method.
Are the products covered by a warranty?
Yes, all products carry the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under the Italian Consumer Code. If an item is faulty, damaged or wrong, we replace, repair or refund it at no cost to you. A repair service is also available.
Retailers and businesses
Do you sell wholesale to shops and perfumeries?
Yes. L'Officiel Roma supplies perfumeries, boutiques, concept stores, bridal boutiques, hotel shops and duty free in Italy and abroad. You can order on Faire, Ankorstore and Orderchamp, or email INFO@OFFICIEL.IT for the catalogue, wholesale price list and samples. Delivery to retailers takes 26 days. Details: Wholesale for Buyers.
Do you manufacture for other brands (private label)?
Yes, we make Made in Italy jewellery and silk scarves under the client's brand, including from the client's own designs. Minimum order 12 pieces, samples available, jewellery production time 3 weeks from order confirmation. Details: Made in Italy Manufacturing & Private Label.
Do you offer personalised corporate gifts?
