The essence of charmeuse silk
Every pillowcase is made from pure mulberry silk, the finest natural fiber in the world, obtained from the cocoons of the Bombyx mori silkworm, raised exclusively on mulberry leaves: a long, uniform, remarkably lustrous filament. The charmeuse weave in satin construction gives the skin-facing side a smooth, luminous surface, while the matte reverse ensures fabric stability — the same textile quality as L'Officiel Roma's silk scarves, brought into the ritual of rest.

Grade 6A: the pinnacle of the classification
Raw silk is graded on a quality scale from C up to 6A, the highest level, based on thread luster, color purity, and freedom from imperfections. Only a small share of world production reaches grade 6A: continuous filaments over 900 meters long, individually selected, smoother, stronger, and naturally pearlescent — a surface free of knots and irregularities that holds up over time.

Care instructions
Hand wash or machine wash at 30°C (86°F) in a protective mesh bag, with a neutral silk detergent. Air dry flat, away from direct sunlight (avoid the tumble dryer). Iron on low heat, on the reverse side, while the fabric is still slightly damp. Avoid: bleach, fabric softener, and frequent dry cleaning.
